Tedd Koren, DC


Tedd Koren, DC is the most widely read doctor of chiropractic today; writing for Koren Publications over 45 million of his popular patient education brochures have been distributed in the United States alone. His patient education materials are also being published, under license, in Australia and Japan and distributed in Canada (Koren Canada) and the UK (Koren Publications UK).

Dr. Koren was born in Brooklyn, New York and after surviving Tilden High School and Brooklyn College graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

He studied at the Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C. where he was editor of both the student and school newspapers, assistant chemistry and neurology instructor, school photographer and graduated as class valedictorian in 1977. After his release, he moved to the Philadelphia area and was instrumental in co-founding the Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in 1978. There he taught histology, neurology, chiropractic spinal adjusting techniques and assisted in the preparation of school publications.

Dr. Koren has been a frequent guest on radio and television and is often mentioned in the national media. He produced and hosted a successful weekly two-hour radio call-in talk show “Holistic Hotline,” which was devoted to healthcare issues. He ran a busy downtown holistically-oriented Philadelphia practice for 14 years. He co-founded the Foundation for Health Choice to fight for healthcare freedom.

He currently devotes himself to family, writing, research, speaking and still makes time to practice.

Dr, Koren’s seminars on chiropractic philosophy, research and mind-body-spine relationships are among the most popular in the chiropractic profession.

He, his wife Beth, their son Seth and daughter Shayna reside in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
